		<description>Yes, Mr. Macromedia employee guy, but that doesn&#039;t give anything to the fact that laszlo can print out DHTML and iFrames.

Adobe needs to do a lot more over the next few years to convince me they are looking out for the open source community.

There&#039;s also a difference between &quot;available source code&quot; and a really-for-real open source project. I would call Flex &quot;available source code&quot;, not open source. I like the idea of being able to contribute to the project if it is missing a feature or if I find a bug.</description>

If you like Laszlo, go for it, but JavaScript and ActionScript are both based on the same standard, ECMAScript, and the ActionScript VM has been open source for a long time now, so no difference there in terms of &quot;proprietariness&quot; (sp?) :)</description>
