I don't think anyone who regularly reads this blog thinks they won't see posts like this every now and again - so to the people reading this post via RSS (and a few on email), visit the site and leave a comment about the header image I just put together waiting for some video to capture.

I am realizing a bit too late that if you have a monthly event, you need to standardize the date.
Any other dates/times/locations will inevitably be bonus events.
This month's Florida Creatives is in a different place on a different day - never again.
How does 3rd Monday at Crooked Bayou sound? We can build a relationship with that place, they seemed to like having us on a slow night. This means the next event is March 19th, right after St. Patty's Day.
Don't ask me why, but I just wrote a song. I don't write songs, but this one just kind of got stuck in my head and I didn't know who to share it with, so i wrote it down - with chords and everything.
It's about evil Starbuck's Coffee and (partly) how it makes me run to the toilet.
Yesterday, Nintendo released the Wii News Channel, which gives you a news interface and a world map showing where all the stories come from. What I think is different about this product is the fact that you're using the "Wiimote" (rhymes with "remote") to navigate through the interface. This video from YouTube demonstrates the interface:

Well, the Holiday crush is over and it is time to look ahead to the new year and how Florida Creatives will be one of the hottest things to hit Orlando since DMAC (if you don't count this little thing called The Red Chair Project, or CityArts Factory of course).
Dexter's Thorton Park is the home of the event. I will be there from 5:30PM to 9:00PM, all of Monday is Happy Hour at Dexter's.

The first post here on Florida Creatives will be to announce our first networking event!
