Hey, that's in Orlando!
One of my top 5 blogs, Lost Remote, often has stories that deal with Orlando - like when something happens at the Tribune company, a lot of times the Sentinel will be mentioned. Apparently, they tried out re-designing the local paper's web site before doing Chicago. OK, but now here's a story about our local NBC affiliate using a Slingbox to show the weather during live TV. Who knew?
From Lost Remote:
8(eight) things you probably don't know about me–probably
I got tagged with one of these internet Memes by Marc Rapp, and now let's see who I can infect with such a device: Charlie, Mark Baratelli, Beth Marshall, Linwood Sassy, Barry Smith.

Fringe Discussion Drama
Michael Black, a blogger/webmaster with over a decade of history writing about Montreal Fringe online has decided to lay a verbal smackdown on us at BloggingFringe.com - and I respond in a big way.
Sharing Some Stats
OK, now that the Fringe Festival is long over, and the spike in traffic for Blogging Fringe has come and gone, what do we have to show for it? Not as much as I'd like, really. The fact that lots of our content is spread across other sites (MySpace, YouTube) doesn't really require anyone to use our site to get the content. With this audience, we don't really need to worry about feeds taking away from our traffic.
I love Motion Graphics
For a while in college, I studied 3D graphics, motion graphics, animation, etc. I'm also a big music guy, and a huge fan of Japanese sample artist Cornelius. So when I see stuff like this, it really gets me going.
Tech is Turning Over
So many things happened while I was "away", or rather, while I was at Fringe. Here are some highlights:
Biting the Bullet - I'm just one of Y'all
This post originally appeared on Blogging Fringe and is in relation to that community site in particular, but I think it also applies to any community-driven site I will ever try to build.
OK, so I realised some time today that I alone cannot make all the videos, take all the pictures, do all the blog posts I want to do AND update the MySpace AND write reviews - I think I have 4 or more reviews I want to do, and they might never get the level of attention I think they deserve.
