In January, the editors at Grosset & Dunlap read every submission and chose their favorite 25. My sister Lisa Henson, Wendy Froud and I, together with Rob Valois, Francesco Sedita and Lori Burke of Grosset & Dunlap have now read all 25 of these and together chose the top 5 finalists. Every story is fascinating, rich in detail and character. We each have our favorites. We would like to congratulate all 25 authors who have made it to this stage.
