A background image that fits the entire web page can be more challenging. I’ve learned that a simple graphic with a strong diagonal feel, sized to fit 100% of the page’s height and width, can be a fun and effective background graphic that seems to be a custom fit to the web page size

I will be doing an (as of yet untitled) digital puppetry / collaborative performance piece tonight as a part of a backyard art showcase. The blunder for me, is that it's 18 hours until the event and I don't have a playable demo! Built with Processing and a Nintendo WiiMote. Come and see what the fuss is all about.
My friend Jake called me a few days ago to tell me he will be teaching a User Interface Design class at Ferris State University in Grand Rapids, MI next Fall. After my congratulations, he asked me to help him pick out a textbook for his students. Here were my suggestions:
For a while in college, I studied 3D graphics, motion graphics, animation, etc. I'm also a big music guy, and a huge fan of Japanese sample artist Cornelius. So when I see stuff like this, it really gets me going.
