Jessica Clark recently wrote a web-only article for The American Prospect, "an authoritative magazine of liberal ideas" about our new friends at Independent's Hall called Coworkers of the World, Unite! She gets all of the factual information correct:
Noel Hidalgo is running around the world sleeping on couches, twittering, docu-vlogging and digging up a layer of the new open-source Earth bedrock. By the way, he's accepting donations (I've donated), in the spirit of the movement, just to help him get where he's going.
Third week of the month, the two events we host come around, and I blog/email/post the hell out of it! First of all is likemind.orl at Lake Eola Panera Bread, that happened already this morning, but it happens every month. Alex Rudloff and Ryan Price (that's me) host this event for... well... anyone in Orlando!
likemind is a syndicated networking event, a bit like Florida Creatives on a national scale, one might say. Whatever it is, Noah has been very helpful and dedicated to making sure their (he and Piers') vision is realized in other cities around the world.

Most of these updates and things will be posted to the FloridaCreatives.com site, because I make a web page for everything. If I sneeze, I buy a domain name for that too.
Still, we had easily 40 people show up to the event last night, with lots of bloggers throwing in their two cents.
Florida Creatives Happy Hour - Jan 15th at Florida Creatives
Well, the Holiday crush is over and it is time to look ahead to the new year and how Florida Creatives will be one of the hottest things to hit Orlando since DMAC (if you don't count this little thing called The Red Chair Project, or CityArts Factory of course).
Dexter's Thorton Park is the home of the event. I will be there from 5:30PM to 9:00PM, all of Monday is Happy Hour at Dexter's.
