I've been doing some restructuring of my personal sites and the underlying servers in the past couple of weeks - trying out some new tricks to get similar results with fewer (cheaper) resources, and at the same time learn about some modern web architecture at all levels of the stack.

It has been a long time "maybe someday" project for me to build a blog aggregation website for Orlando content, as well as a Podcast site akin to the old ODEO, but again, featuring locally produced podcasts. In the last few months, I finally scratched those two off my list.

Where do I even begin?

First of all, I must preface that the Drupal Community is without a doubt one of the best open source communities. (meaning: most open, most likely to share code, experience and best practices, most innovative, most forward-thinking, least likely to "chase the bunny", most likely to be the bunny, and most likely to create tons of venture-backed companies in the next few years)
