Will's Pub announces (another) new location

Thu, 09/27/2007 - 10:14 -- rprice

We heard long ago that Will would be moving into the old theatre-looking space next to the Cruises Only building, but later found out he was bogged down in legislation, or something to that effect. Here's the first I've heard about Will re-re-re-relocating (if you count the Will's Pub South incident and his current arrangement with TASTE).

I'm a BlogOrlando Podcasting Session Leader

Thu, 08/16/2007 - 08:22 -- rprice

In an unconference like BlogOrlando (September 27-29, 2007 Rollins College), there aren't attendees and speakers, but simply participants and discussion leaders. This means that collectively, the people sitting in the audience, or even just one person from the audience, might know more about podcasting than myself. My session on podcasting falls into the "technology track". The other sessions include PR/Marketing, Media, Life/Local, and a keynote by Shel Israel.

Chris Pirillo's iPhone Rant, plus Why no Flash

Mon, 07/02/2007 - 22:17 -- rprice

I started this morning with "The iPhone doesn't have video". That is Chris' reason #17 of 20 reasons why he didn't buy an iPhone on day 1. I agree with several of his points. This video is about 20 minutes long - I found it very easy to watch the whole thing, despite the fact that Chris gets a little agitated at times during the video.

Hey, that's in Orlando!

Wed, 06/27/2007 - 03:36 -- rprice

One of my top 5 blogs, Lost Remote, often has stories that deal with Orlando - like when something happens at the Tribune company, a lot of times the Sentinel will be mentioned. Apparently, they tried out re-designing the local paper's web site before doing Chicago. OK, but now here's a story about our local NBC affiliate using a Slingbox to show the weather during live TV. Who knew?
