In an unconference like BlogOrlando (September 27-29, 2007 Rollins College), there aren't attendees and speakers, but simply participants and discussion leaders. This means that collectively, the people sitting in the audience, or even just one person from the audience, might know more about podcasting than myself. My session on podcasting falls into the "technology track". The other sessions include PR/Marketing, Media, Life/Local, and a keynote by Shel Israel.
If you don't know Dan Rua, know that he is a Venture Capitalist who invested in PayPerPost, an Orlando-based business. He's a Managing Partner of Inflexion Partners, "Florida's Venture Fund", and a part-time blogger. In addition to geeky stuff, he also posts about biotech and UF/Gainesville (his alma mater) quite often.

One of the newest attendees, Cory, posted FloridaCreatives.com to StumbleUpon, which resulted in 32 visitors in one day (if Feedburner has the right of it). Cool.
I guess I need to get an account over there. That's some nice free traffic.
Please put one of your friends in StumbleUpon, today.
Been doing a little Twittering, but not much because I left my cell phone AND laptop chargers in Orlando... Paying my credit card bill over dial-up at Kait's dad's house right now... Been having a good time in Maine. The first day I got here, I was running on 3 hours sleep (not conting airplane time), and we went to two adjoining 4J parties, one with Beer Die (like Beer Pong with a 6-sided die) and an old black woman shouting "Point! Point! Drink!
Third week of the month, the two events we host come around, and I blog/email/post the hell out of it! First of all is likemind.orl at Lake Eola Panera Bread, that happened already this morning, but it happens every month. Alex Rudloff and Ryan Price (that's me) host this event for... well... anyone in Orlando!
First let me remind you that we have an event coming up on Monday the 18th at the Crooked Bayou, our home now for 4 of 7 months of Florida Creatives Happy Hours. As usual, meet and greet will be from 6-9PM officially. I have often stayed far past 10 o'clock myself, but you're welcome to come and go when you like.
