BarCamp Orlando, Pats on the Back
What an awesome event. Taste was absolutely packed. Lots of new thoughts and networking, lots of ideas for iteration #2. I heard the next 'camp might only be 6 months away. With 4 podcast networks in Orlando, though, I'm gonna push for PodCamp. It doesn't need to be anything huge, just a day for us to get together and swap ideas and techniques. Podcasting is so personal and self-taught. There aren't any college courses on podcasting, so it would be great to unload some of what we know on the newbies.

Miro is stepping it up
Miro player (formerly Democracy) is an internet TV application that works on a subscribe and download model. Some would call it a podcatcher. Others would say it's ready to leave the other podcatchers in the dust.

Florida Creatives on StumbleUpon
One of the newest attendees, Cory, posted FloridaCreatives.com to StumbleUpon, which resulted in 32 visitors in one day (if Feedburner has the right of it). Cool.
I guess I need to get an account over there. That's some nice free traffic.
Please put one of your friends in StumbleUpon, today.

Chris Pirillo's iPhone Rant, plus Why no Flash
I started this morning with "The iPhone doesn't have video". That is Chris' reason #17 of 20 reasons why he didn't buy an iPhone on day 1. I agree with several of his points. This video is about 20 minutes long - I found it very easy to watch the whole thing, despite the fact that Chris gets a little agitated at times during the video.
If Digg is Mob Mentality, Pownce is a Clique
I recently posted a comment on Mashable I'd like to share with you, my subscribers. The post was Rise of the Rose Bashers? and it pointed out people who have never used Kevin Rose & company's new IM/filesharing service, Pownce.
Ryan Price vs. the Media: Orlando Weekly
A podcast about how I turned around on the Orlando Weekly. Recorded on my phone by calling my Skype number. I'll have a player for the mp3 here soon.
